What is MOPS?

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is an international organization that began in 1973 by a group of moms with young children who wanted an opportunity to take a break from their daily routine and connect with other moms. Because we believe that mothering matters, First Christian Church offers two separate MOPS groups that meet weekly on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. MOPS is open to any mom with at least one child age 0 to 5. Expecting moms are also welcome.

What is MOPPETS?

While our moms are enjoying themselves, their children are able to play together and be cared for by our MOPPETS program. This program includes a Bible lesson, stories, organized games, songs, crafts, play time, and a healthy snack. Nursery care is provided for infants.

Scholarships

Please do not let money keep you from participating. We gladly provide scholarships to those who may need assistance. Please contact us for more information.

Donations

It is our hope that all women who desire to attend MOPS can be given the opportunity. All donations are appreciated. Checks should be made to FCC MOPS SCHOLARSHIP. Thank you for helping another mom!

$93.50 – Mom
$128.50 – Mom + one child
$138.50 – Mom + two or more children

Deadline for registering for Fall Semester is August 13, 2008
Deadline for registering for Spring Semester is January 10, 2009

How to Register

If you have registered for a previous event online, you can use the same user id and password. If you do not remember your user id, please call the church office and we can give that to you. If you have not registered for a previous event, please create an account in order to get to the registration page. After you have successfully completed registration for an event you should receive a confirmation e-mail.
