What We Believe

The Bible says we were “made by God and for God.” And we were put here for His purposes. Until we understand that truth, life is not going to make much sense. At First Christian Church, our motivating reasons for existence is to help you live your life on purpose – not by accident or coasting through life – but life on purpose. Since life is a preparation for eternity, our goal is to assist you in using your time on earth fulfilling God’s five purposes for your life.

Worship – You are planned for God’s pleasure, so we want to help you use each day to get to know and love God better.

Fellowship – You are formed for God’s family, so we want to assist you in using every day to show love to other believers.

Discipleship – You are created to be like Christ, so we will provide opportunities to grow you character.

Ministry – You are shaped to serve God, so we will provide avenues of service to serve God and others.

Evangelism – You are made for a mission, so we will equip you to share the Good News.

The mission of First Christian Church is similar to the purpose for your life. We exist to REACH people for Christ, CONNECT them to His family, GROW them to be like Him, and equip them to SERVE & CELEBRATE Christ. By following this mission statement our church is living out the same five purposes you are called by God to live out in your life.
